Mormon Tea- This shrubby herb has an astringent effect, reducing mucus secretions.


Gumweed- Gumweed works to slow bacterial growth and reduces inflammation.


Nettle Leaf- Nettles have many beneficial properties, including several that reduce inflammation.


Oregon Grape Root- Oregon grape root has many antibacterial properties that are helpful for treating infections.


Horehound- The antispasmodic properties in horehound are helpful in relaxing smooth muscles which can decrease frequency of coughing, while the analgesic properties can help with the pain from excessive coughing.


Wild Cherry Bark- Used traditionally to treat coughs, wild cherry bark is an expectorant (breaks up and helps the body get rid of mucus) as well as an antitussive, meaning it is useful in suppress coughs


Lobelia- Lobelia was traditionally smoked by Indigenous people as a treatment for Asthma. Natural chemicals in lobelia help to thin and clear mucus from the lungs.


Stevia leaves (optional) for flavoring- A natural sweetener, the stevia plant has a glycemic index of zero, so it can be enjoyed by those who cannot have sugar.


Alcohol- Alcohol is used as a solvent to extract the benefits of the herbs.
